1. Attend a training course from a CAAS-approved UA Training and Assessment Organisation (UATO).

2. Take the CAAS-administered theory test at upon completing the training.

3. Undergo a practical assessment conducted by an Authorized Flight Examiner (UA) within our UATO organization after passing the theory test.

4. The examiner will take about 2 working days to submit the practical assessment results upon passing.

5. Apply for the license through the Civil Aviation Personnel Licensing System (CAPELS) portal,anticipate a wait of about 5 business days for the approval of the digital license by CAAS.

CAAS Drone Permit

In Singapore, operating an unmanned aircraft (UA) may necessitate permits under specific circumstances. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issues the CAAS Operator Permit and CAAS Activity Permit, mandatory for certain categories of UA activities.

Remarks: The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Transport.
