Outline

A Proficiency Check is required every 4 years for all UAPL holders to ensure that they are still competent in the operating an unmanned aircraft before they are allowed to renew their UAPL. This course includes a Refresher Training and Proficiency Check for UA#1 & UA#2. Refresher Training is conducted prior to the Proficiency Check to allow UA Pilots to attain the required skills to pass the Proficiency Check.

Practical Training

Outdoor Practical Training on UA#1 & UA#2 (4 Hours)

  • Refresher Training for existing UAPL holder conducted by an Instructor (flown in ATTI mode)

Proficiency Check

UAPL Proficiency Check (1 Hour)

  • Proficiency check is carried out by Authorised Flight Examiner, AFE (UA) to assess on UA#1 & UA#2.
  • Remarks: UA#1 - Multi-Rotor up to 7kg only, UA#2 - Multi-Rotor up to 25kg

Outcome

Renew UAPL Class A - Rotorcraft (restricted to operate Multi-Rotor only) for another 4 years.
