What Will You Learn

The course guides participants step by step through the process of building a speedy and precise FPV racing quadcopter from scratch.

  • Understand drone components such as ESC, flight controller, motors, propulsion, electrical systems, and ground control systems.
  • Learn basic drone control principles and working principles.
  • Apply pre-flight and post-flight safety guidelines.
  • Assess how to choose suitable components for drone assembly.
  • Learn safe usage and handling of LiPo batteries.
  • Practise constructing, soldering, configuring, and test flying the self-built drone.

Course Information

Participants who meet the attendance requirement receive a Certificate of Participation and bring home a complete FPV drone package.

  • Certificate of Participation awarded to participants who meet 75% attendance.
  • Course fee includes a drone package worth $589.
  • Drone package includes drone with camera, controller, FPV goggle, battery, and charger.
  • Unmanned Aircraft registration label ($25) must be acquired before the course starts.
